About this product

A joint venture between Michel Chapoutier and Ron Laughton (Jasper Hill); from different cultures yet with a similar wine ideology: minimal interventionist; biodynamic practices. In another cross cultural reference - the cuttings for the Heathcote vineyard from which the wine is produced were taken from Tain l'Hermitage; some of the very few vines to survive Pheloxera. The wine is made entirely from Shiraz, and spends 12 months in new French oak. It is deep and rich with ripe berry fruits and layers of spice; all elegance and power.
