Michel Chapoutier produces a wonderful, modern style of Châteauneuf-du-Pape here with a forboding Grenache and Syrah (Shiraz) blend that has lashing of blackcurrant, fig and licquorice root. A wonderful balance between power and elegance.

Poor value and a poor example of a CdP. For this price, Dan's should be able to stock much better quality CdPs than this. NOT recommended. 3.8 on Vivino which is consistent with this below par rating

The 2011 vintage is closer to a 'cheap aperitif' than a wine. At 15 proof and being made essentially of the 'not so noble' grenache grape in that "incontournable" -!- vintage, it should sell for less than AUD20 after our 'as heavy' taxes fo
