About this product
Michel Chapoutier produces a wonderful, modern style of Châteauneuf-du-Pape here with a forboding Grenache and Syrah (Shiraz) blend that has lashing of blackcurrant, fig and licquorice root. A wonderful balance between power and elegance.

Ripe stewed fruits perhaps rhubarb and touches of pepper/capsicum on the nose. Attacks the palate with controlled intensity. Slinky tannins that roll around the mouth. Finish goes on and on.
