Château La Mission Haut Brion was classified as Grand Cru Classe in the original Graves classification of 1953 and is a wine made up of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Blackcurrant dominates followed by truffle. Mouthfeel is savoury, tannins are there as usual but are harmonius and soft.
