About this product

This is a very fine Gris. Its elegant nose shows hints of citrus, grapefruit, musk and apricot while on the palate the wine is structured and remarkably tight with mineral characteristics supporting rich, tropical fruit. The acid is very fresh and the length impeccable.

Took my mother out on mothers day and picked this bottle off the menu. It was like heaven in my mouth, wonderfully paired with fish and Chinese food. Kumeu River Winery an hour out of Auckland is beautiful and picturesque, their unique win

While the notes of a nice wine are there, I couldn’t go past how sweet this wine was, almost a dessert wine. I bought 3 bottles in a bulk buy and I’m trying to find where this would suit. Maybe with some hot Thai food but not a daily drinke
