The 2019 Cradle Shiraz is a rich purple in colour. The fruit is from the premium cool climate growing region of Hilltops, NSW. The nose has a marvellous cavalcade of mulberry fruits, chocolate, cinnamon and white pepper. The palate is full bodied, layered and lingering, underscored by selected time on French oak. This wine is drinking beautifully now but will evolve and cellar well for the next ten years.

Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.

Wonderfully fruited and youthfully expressed, the wine shows elegance as well as generosity with Black Doris plum, cranberry, violet and almond characters on the nose with a hint of pepper spice. The palate is juicy and beautifully rounded, delivering succulent fruit intensity and smooth mouthfeel backed by refreshing acidity and fine-grained tannins, finishing long and very attractive. At its best: now to 2029.
