In recent years the Penfolds Thomas Hyland range has produced some of the very best value in the Penfolds portfolio. Named after pioneering ancestor, Thomas Hyland, this Cabernet is sourced from premium vineyards across South Australia to provide a consistent, full-bodied, varietal Cabernet Sauvignon that can be enjoyed year after year. The 2007 Hyland Cab is borne out of a drought year in South Australia in which vineyards had to work extremely hard to provide the quality of fruit on show here in red wine. After 5+ years in our climate controlled cellars, this delicious Cab is crying out to be enjoyed with a slow-cooked beef cheek or eggplant parmigiana.
