Dry, Light Bodied style of RieslingDönnhoff family have been making wine since 1750, in German region of Nahe, based in Oberhausen. 80% of their production is Riesling made in a viriety of styles from many vineyards. The Tonschiefer Riesling is a soft composition with thick chords; very long, woodsy like old leaves and tree bark after a warm rain; the palate is more silvery, sorelly, with a touch of flint. Simply stunning.
