Another nice stout from Stone

Verging on being more of a black IPA than a stout, but that's fairly typical of Stone Brewing's offerings (e.g. Americano Stout). For what it is, it's tasty and drinkable for a beer of its strength.

This tastes like a black IPA. Smooth, juicy hops with a very strong grapefruit-like tartness in the aftertaste which is great if that's what you wanted to buy. Definitely not a bloomin Stout! Very pricey for an IPA at $44/6. Try the Moo
