A nice nose of cassis and dark berries with a hint of oak, ripe rich fruit that fills the mouth with blackcurrants and soft tannins.

Wow. It's a sign of the times - an intensely competitive market - that leads to a wine of this producer, pedigree and regional provenance at this price. The colour is excellent, and the palate overflows with blackcurrant and redcurrant fruit, soft tannins adding to both the length of the palate and the immediate appeal of the wine.
