A deep ruby red in the glass. Plum, sarsaparilla, and bay leaf aromas. A dense and weighty core of plummy fruit that’s well encased with sandy tannins and ample layers of blood, meat, and ironstone minerality. Goes long and lingers with those tannins ensuring it is full and focused from start to finish. A great example of old vine intensity without being overbearing.
