The acidity is punchy, juicy and ripe here, a deep sonorous twang in the heart of the yellow peach and orchard fruit that encases it. The oak (30% new) is seamlessly filagreed into all aspects of the affair. A really lovely result, from a really weird season (warm, then cool, humid and with plenty of rainfall), proving that there is good in the world.
