Dry, Medium Bodied style of Ribolla GiallaColli Orientali is a DOC within the Friuli-Venezia Giuila region in the North East of Italy.
This is a 100% Ribolla Gialla, fermented mainly in stainless steel to highlight the variety's fresh fruit and floral characters. 20% of the blend was fermented in large oak casks to add a hint of complexity, richness and roundess.
Mid straw-yellow, with complex characters of spring flowers, apple, and crushed lemon leaves. There is an abundance of fruit on the palate along with a sweet, fennel character and a chalky finish.
