Wine styleDry, Medium Bodied style of Cortese

About this product

Established in 1858 by the first king of Italy, Fontanafredda is now the single largest contiguous wine estate in the Langhe region, with a fierce commitment to organic viticulture as well as woodland regeneration.

The Platinum label represents the unique tradition of the Estate and more than 160 years of history. This is a fresh, young Gavi, highlighting the fruity and floral attributes of the Cortese variety.

Pale straw-yellow with greenish highlights. An elegant bouquet of white flowers, apricot, lime, and lemon, with a hint of geranium adding complexity. The palate is lively and crisp, featuring bright citrus and finishing clean and pure with an appetizing touch of savoriness for added intrigue.
