From 40-year-old vines. A delicious, perfumed grenache that’s laden with red and blue fruits. Fresh and fine, able to mature well, but it’s hard to see any need other than drinking it at the first opportunity, albeit respecting its inherent quality. 3600 bottles made.

Aboriginal owned-and-operated wine project. Made by Marco Cirillo. It’s true to form for Barossa Grenache, rich in scents and flavours, dense in texture, warming, ripe, dark berry imbued but there’s a lift of spice and floral things amongst the more concentrated brooding feel, Good length, even feeling in the palate, a sense of luxury even with the flex. 14.0%
