Henk Pinot Noir

Dark burgundy with a light purple hue. This is beautifully aromatic and lifted. Violet like florals, rose water, black cherry, raspberry, pomegranate, and perhaps rhubarb nuance. The palate is lithe, juicy and medium bodied. And it's loaded with those red fruit flavours, cinnamon and cumin notes, some baked strawberry and a little light leafiness. The acidity is refreshing adding a sense of linearity, the tannins fine and powdery, adding a savoury sensibility. The overwhelming sense is of a fresh, juicy athletic wine.
