This is a very good Grange. A plush spread of flavours, an open wine, easy to identify the many superbly executed elements. It almost floats, such is the superb balance. As usual, very rich and dense, nonetheless light on its feet - black fruit, blue fruit, aniseed, mocha, chinotto, licorice, warm dark spices, pan jus meatiness, savoury dried herbs, softly textured, open and inviting. A very approachable Grange, a wine of easy grandeur, which unfurls in the glass right in front of you. As always, Grange can be safely stored in ideal conditions for 20 years plus.

Deep crimson. Lifted fresh dark chocolate, mocha dark cherry blackberry, paneforte, mocha aromas with liquorice aniseed notes. Superbly balanced wine with plentiful dark chocolate, blackberry fruits, fine graphite firm tannins, lovely mid plate richness and well-balanced mocha, espresso oak notes. Finishes chocolaty firm and long. Elemental, expressive and expansive with lovely fruit complexity oak integration, density and torque. A brilliant follow up to the 2018 vintage. Drink 2028 – 2060
