64% cabernet sauvignon, 14% merlot, 13% malbec, 9% petit verdot, destemmed and crushed (the malbec destemmed only), open fermented, 9-14 days on skins, matured in French oak (28% new) for 12 months. Bright crimson; Langhorne Creek is a very special place, as Wolf Blass realised decades before others. This wine exemplifies the freshness and softness of the bright fruit expression of all the red varieties grown there. This is so seductive it pains me to spit it out, but that I must do.
