Golden yellow in colour, this wine has a fragrant nose with aromas of apricot, peach and hints of fennel. The palate is refined with citrus and mineral graphite notes adding to the complexity of this wine that has a lovely saline character and a long mouthwatering finish. The domaine has 4.2 hectares of Chardonnay planted across Pouilly and the surrounding villages. The grapes for this wine come from a 0.57 hectares plot of east-facing vineyards in the heart of the Pouilly village, right in front of the Roche de Solutré. The vines are 35 years old and are planted on limestone rich soils at 270 metres above sea level, a location which adds impressive freshness to the finished wines.
