About this product

Transparent bright ruby with a purple tinge. Lifted aniseed, white pepper, cacao, clove and pine sawdust sit on bright fragrant raspberry, cranberry and Japanese sour plum. Beautifully silky entrance, with chalkiness on the finish leaving a dry and immensely fragrant perfume lingering. Raspberry and cranberry juice with a red peppercorn spice and a hint of red liquorice remain.

You seriously need to try this wine. Lovely bouquet and smooth long finish. One of the best.

A good wine but I find it a bit too expensive.

At arount $35 a bottle it is hard to justify against other good Shiraz's that are 16 - 24 a bottle. I do like the Vasse Felix - but would really only buy in bulk if the price was, maybe, around $28.
