About this product

Teso La Monja is located in the Toro region, just South of Rioja on the banks of the Duero River. Temperatures here can be extreme, ranging from -17 degrees C in winter to 37 degrees C in summer. In this region, the grape variety Tempranillo is known as Tinta de Toro.

Romanico is the entry wine of Teso La Monja. Aged 6 months in French oak barrels and in tank, this is the most fruit forward wine. Deep purple in appearance, with a nose of red fruit, blackberries and cassis, with hints of liquorice and sweet earth. It is rich and opulent on the palate, with fresh red fruits balanced by chalky tannins.
