A wine that came into existence when an experimental blend won the Jimmy Watson Trophy in the days when the wine did not have to be bottled; it is curious that these blends are not common in Coonawarra, for the result is a harmonious medium-bodied wine, fruit to the fore, with a long, balanced palate, the oak integrated.
