Maison Louis LatourClos Vougeot Grand Cru 2015 750mL
About this product
In the 12th century, the Cistercian monks of Citeaux, owners of Clos Vougeot, began cultivating vines here. Clos Vougeot is the largest Grand Cru in Burgundy with 52 hectares of vines and over 80 different owners. The Clos itself is subdivided into many different localities.
The Clos Vougeot Grand Cru 2015 is intense and deep in colour with garnet hints. The nose is complex, unveiling aromas of blackcurrant, mocha, undergrowth and a floral hint of violet. On tasting, it is powerful and ample with wonderful tannins, notes of cherry and coffee with a lot of persistence.
