There's a purity of varietal fruit here on the nose with black and red currants, raspberry, cherry, and mulberyy, backed up by oak matured characters of vanilla biscuit, coffee and cinnamon. The full-bodied palate shows impressive depth and length of flavour framed by fine structured tannins and would pair handsomely with a roast leg of spring lamb.
