"Contrada Carranco" is a special plot within the Carranco Estate. This a unique, old vineyard, where bush vines are planted on small terraces.

A 95% Nerello Mascalese, 5% Nerello Cappuccio blend, this wine is a vibrant, red garnet in appearance. Stewed plum, red berries, sour cherry on the nose, with a pleasant negroni-like bitterness that adds freshness and vibrancy on the palate. Powerful fruit expression on the palate, with a real intensity of red fruit, hints of leather, ending with very fine silky tannins.
