Multi-award winning, Glencadam Reserva Andalucía pays homage to the relationship between Glencadam Distillery and the famous sherry region of Andalucía, Spain. Handcrafted using carefully selected sherry butts from Glencadam Distillery’s dunnage warehouses and marrying together with bourbon casks, this fine single malt is then finished in Oloroso Sherry butts from Andalucía.The result is a rich and sherry-forward expression, where the famous fruitiness of the Glencadam spirit is balanced with sultana and sweet-spice notes, that come from the Oloroso Sherry cask maturation. Nose: Initial aromas of ripe soft fruits, soft nougat and oaky vanilla with a background of freshly made fudge.Palate: Smooth and creamy with sultanas, orchard fruits and toffee apple sweetness.Finish: Long lasting and silky smooth with honey, muscovado sugar and green tea lingering on the tongue.
