Produced from a special block of Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot (9% this year), the 2020 wine packs a robust wallop. Aided by the Petit Verdot component, the wine shows remarkable power - dark, almost brooding, displaying deep black fruit, dark plums, cedar, tobacco, powdered herbs and a touch of choc-mint. The tannins, at this early stage, are on the chewy side. Enjoy it now, if you must (with a robust meal), or cellar for as long as you like.
