Malbec, a variety once popular in Bordeaux France, is now mostly associated with countries such as Argentina and regions such as Cahors in South West France. Langhorne Creek has a long history with Malbec and the climate is exceptionally well suited. This special release Malbec is the result of block selection, the parcels have been kept separate and nurtured for maximum expression of varietal character. This wine shows an intense perfumed aroma of violets and spice with a bramble lift, on the palate the wine is rich and fleshy with fine tannins.
