This could almost be "class captain" in the old school of Australian red wine production. Here we have an exemplar of a style of wine that's been hugely popular for decades - rich, sweet fruit, cedary oak, chocolate notes, a touch of Coonawarra mint, soft and supple, and perfect with red meat dishes. Tasted in January, 2023, we advise that the wine is drinking perfectly now and should be good for at least a few more years.
