Using the unique Double Barrel technique of finishing in aged Irish whiskey barrels has integrated the myriad of flavours and brought extra richness to the palate of this wine.

Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.

Whoever thought of enhancing a wine's taste profile with old whiskey barrels is some kind of genius. Rather than clashing, the wood influence, the nuance of whisky and the richness of the cabernet synergize very effectively to create a mouth-filling, smooth red wine drinking experience. The 2016 vintage is now reaching its peak after 5 years in our cellar. (Tasted Nov. 2022). Age has added smoothness to the rich berry-laden fruit and soft tannins add to the enjoyment.
