About this product

Founded in 1880, Maison Joseph Drouhin is one of Burgundy’s most prestigious family-owned houses. Now led by the fourth generation, the estate is defined by a signature style of effortless elegance. Their 100-hectare domain is farmed entirely using organic and biodynamic practices, spanning the region's most iconic Grand Cru and Premier Cru plots. From the legendary Montrachet Marquis de Laguiche to their accessible regional classics, Drouhin wines are celebrated for their purity, finesse, and true terroir character.
The Côte de Beaune Rouge is crafted from declassified young vines within Drouhin’s prestigious Premier Cru estates, including the iconic Clos des Mouches. It reveals a charming bouquet of red cherry and wild strawberry, accented by notes of forest floor and dried rose petals. Aged 12–16 months in French oak with 20% new oak, its light-to-medium body is defined by bright fruit and fine-grained tannins, leading to a refreshing, mineral-tinged finish. This delicate expression embodies the spirit of the Côte de Beaune, providing access to Premier Cru-sourced fruit at a village-level classification.
