About this product

Muscadet Sevre et Maine is a region located at the Western end of the Loire Valley, just off the Atlantic coast near the city of Nantes. Made from the grape variety Melon de Bourgogne, this wine was stirred daily on its lees (a depost of yeast cells and grape matter) according to the "Sur Lie" method. Translucent with a diamond-grey hue, with expressive aromas of apricot, peach and a hint of mint. There is an excellent balance between richness, freshness, and bright acidity, with flavours of green plum, pineapple, and passionfruit. This is a classic accompaniment to shellfish, sushi, seafood platters, and goat's cheese.
