Dry, Full Bodied style of ShirazThe 2015 Tahbilk Shiraz has held its colour remarkably well after 4 years in our cellar. Always ageworthy, the 2015 promises the usual rewarding cellar life. Savoury edged, spicy, mid-weight plum and blackberry fruit - claret-like, mark the wine as quite different to the shiraz produced in certain famous South Australian locales. Careful oak handling has allowed the fruit to express itself in the time-honoured Tahbilk style, black tea tannins included.

Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.
