About this product

As the name would suggest, it is an area of higher altitude located within the region of Eden Valley. Due to the elevation, temperatures are some of the coolest in the Barossa, giving us wonderful intense lime, zingy acid and a fine, floral character in the wine. Altitude is greater than 500-600m above sea level. Average vine age is between 30 and 40 year old vines and lies across podzolic soils - sand over yellow and red clay. The palate is intense and generous with lively lime and citrus flavours, finishing dry with refreshing, long acidity. As is the case with all great Eden Valley Rieslings, this wine will age gracefully into a mature wine
