About this product

According to the winemaker's note on the back label (probably written in 2009), the wine is, "An outstounding pinot that needs time to fully integrate." Here we are in 2022 (November tasting) and we can assure you that this rich and powerful wine has fully integrated. The deep flavours have evolved magically from the original bright, youthful red fruit to roast blood plum, root vegetable and spiced cherry with an overlay of exotic sandalwood, pan jus and balsamic. The wine has vitality and layers of interest. Please enjoy over the next 12 months with game meat.
