Perhaps it's the alcohol at the lower limit of usual, but if so, it's reduced the weight, not the flavour or structure of this lovely medium-bodied cabernet, with that purity and attention to detail one expects from this label. Cassis and blackcurrant have recesses of dried herbs and a smear of olive tapenade, the tannins no more than a cobweb, the oak there to be heard, but not seen.
