Very herbal and medicinal on the nose, pine resin and surgical bandage, nice red berry fruitiness and pink grapefruit on palate then the herbal or medicinal notes come through and take over, and works well with tonic also. Aromas of pine wood, orange and forest herbs on the nose. Full mouthfeel with bitterness starting from the mid palate. Tonic brings up the pine wood notes, complimenting the spirit. Bitter sweet blood orange, with some lovely herb notes in the background a great aperitif.
