Jim BarryThe Forger Shiraz 2018
About this product
Delicately perfumed with lifted violets, hints of eucalyptus and aromas of dark plum and blackberry fruits. The rich dark fruits are complemented by cinnamon notes and sweet oak char. Dark forest fruits flow onto the palate with fine tannins providing a lingering persistent finish. This is a wine with great cellaring potential.

Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.

Vintage 2018
93 points
Individual blocks vinified separately, the pressings returned, 7-10 days on skins, matured in new, 1yo and 2yo oak for 13 months. Medium to full-bodied, with some cherry notes alongside blackberry. Overall elegance a winner.
