About this product

Giesen are well known for their über-popular Sauvignon Blanc, but this little Pinot Noir steals the show. Wonderfully varietal in character with luscious flavours of dark cherry with that little touch of savoury spice to keep things interesting. Wonderful length and quite simply a steal at this price.

This is certainly one of the best Marlborough Pinots. Even better when its discounted a few dollars. A wonderful ripe cherry nose with the follow-up too.

Broad and subtle at first but settles in quite nicely.

Not a regular Marlborough, but one that I would come back to. Sits well with seafood and didn't overplay the prawns and crab. After a few glasses it holds its own resonance and doesn't fade like some PN's can.
