This is packing considerable heart. The mesh with the perky acidity and phalanx of oak and granular grape tannins, an assault. Admittedly, 2020 is a hot year. A challenge, to be sure. Aromas of fireworks, molten raspberry and cherry liqueur, mint and brimstone. Exaggerated, almost. I prefer other wines in this stable. But for those seeking unbridled power, here it is.
