Aratoro Pinot Noir

Isabel Estate is one of the original Marlborough vineyards and boasts some of the oldest vines in the region with wines 100% grown and bottled within the boundaries of the estate. There is a focus on small batch winemaking, giving greater options at blending and helping to create complex wines with a sense of place. Aratoro (meaning 'path of discovery') is Isabel Estate's top tier range.Vintage 2021 was a classic for Isabel Estate and the second release of our Aratoro Pinot Noir. The depth in concentration and strong colour due to small ripe berries delivering underlying power are hallmarks of the vintage. The wine is plush and has style with an array of complex fruit and oak profiles. Aromas of damson plum, raspberries, cherry and violet combine with smoky oak to deliver an attractive bouquet. The palate is full-bodied, compact, tasty and ripe with a core of rich flowing fruit. The wine is well built and will integrate with bottle age creating a wine with time on its side.
