Richly fruited and immediately appealing, the wine shows dark cherry, blueberry, cedar, warm spice and floral aromas, leading to a succulent palate delivering excellent weight and velvety mouthfeel. Wonderfully flavoursome and highly enjoyable. At its best: now to 2031.

There’s plenty of deep earthy Barossa red fruit in here. The aromas of plum and lighter raspberry and cherry red fruits emerge immediately with a dusty dry earthy character. The palate is smoothly crafted with a neat infusion of oak from the two years in French and a tread of tannin holding things together rather nicely. Flavours of rich fruit and dark chocolate with a slightly peppery finish offer an appealing palate.
