Palliser Estate Sauvignon Blanc from Martinborough is one of the finest examples of cool-climate Sauvignon Blanc. With similar characters to its Marlborough cousins, there is pungent tropical fruit and cut grass, with balance coming from a hearty thread of acid.

Enjoyed it at the local pub of Martinborough, where the wine is made. We had it with a large platter of antipasti. Just perfect wine for it.

This wine was recommended in store and I was sceptical but it is superb. An amazingly light but zingy wine. Not your normal NZ sac blanc - lighter and as the man said it has something more but you just can't articulate it. Cant get enough -

Rather than rushing to the standard offerings from the Hawkes Bay or Malborough Regions, this delightful drop from New Zealand's Wairarapa region really suprises. Full of flavour and beautiful with seafood.
