About this product

Founded in 1834 by Antoine Jaboulet, Paul Jaboulet Aîné is one of the most iconic names in the Rhône Valley. Renowned for its legendary Hermitage La Chapelle, the estate manages vineyards across the Northern Rhône’s most prestigious appellations, including Saint-Péray, Crozes-Hermitage, Cornas, Saint-Joseph, Côte-Rôtie, and Hermitage.

Since 2006, under the leadership of Caroline Frey, the estate has focused on a holistic approach to viticulture, resulting in wines of remarkable purity and terroir expression. From the approachable Côtes du Rhône to the iconic Hermitage La Chapelle, Paul Jaboulet Aîné remains a benchmark for the region.

This 100% Syrah reveals an elegant bouquet of raspberry and black cherry, woven with notes of violet, cracked black pepper, and subtle licorice. Aged for 12 months in a combination of oak and stainless steel, it presents a supple, medium-bodied frame with fine-grained tannins and a distinct granitic minerality. Often called the "Affordable Hermitage," it captures the classic structure and character of its famous neighbors with a polished, approachable finish.
