Yarra YeringYarra Valley Chardonnay 750mL
About this product
Estate dry-grown vines, planted '69. Hand-picked, whole-bunch pressed, wild-fermented in French oak (30% new), matured for 10 months. Bright complex nose of blossom, stonefruit, candied figs and lemongrass with subtle background oak. Generosity of stonefruits flavours give fruit volume weight to the palate. A ginger cream spice texture lending weight with gentle vanillin oak, a fine tannin framework.

While Yarra Yering makes its mark as a red wine producer of excellence, of late its chardonnay is really standing out. It's changing. It's finer. It's pristine, with layers of citrus and tangy acidity lengthening out a palate that's seamless and textural. It has the right amount of moreish sulphides to the fruit weight. Try putting this down.
