Domaine Pousse d'Or

Chambolle Musigny Feusselottes 1er Cru 2017

Les Feusselottes is a 4.4ha premier cru vineyard above Les Charmes. The soil is a mixture of limestone and clay – not dissimilar to Musigny (but not nearly as high up the hill) and two thirds of Pousse d’Or’s small .42ha plot was planted in the 1920s with the other third planted in 1966. The wines from here are usually textbook chambolle with their minerality and purity of fruit.
