Howard ParkGranite Ridge Shiraz
About this product
Forty kilometres from the southern ocean, our Great Southern vineyard was once an off shore granite island. The soils are ancient - some of the oldest grape growing soils in the world - and at an altitude of more than 350 metres above sea level, this vineyard is a special to grow grapes. The high altitude, terroir and attention to detail combine to produce a Shiraz with vibrant and powerful fruit, a subtle undercurrent of spice and supple ripe tannins.

Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.

94 points Wine Orbit
Wonderfully fruited and perfumed, the bouquet shows blackberry and blueberry, dark spice, toasted nut and violet aromas, followed by a superbly weighted palate offering plump mouthfeel backed by finely integrated tannins. Beautifully composed and structured with a lengthy harmonious finish. At its best: now to 2031.
