In part it tastes like a true-blue, full-bodied Barossa red and in other part it feels a bit different. Best of both worlds, you could say. Blackberry and plum with ferrous, almost seaweed-like aspects, creamy vanilla notes helping to band it all together. Overall it feels fresh, ripe and substantial and really, given the asking price, it's above average for value.

Sporting bright plum and red berry fruits along with hints of brown spice, purple floral high tones, red berry pastries and a touch of raspberry jam. Some nice juicy, pure red fruits and acid crunch here; light on the tannins and leaving a wake of spice and red plum as it moves over the palate.
