About this product

Minor Case Straight Rye is produced at Limestone Branch Distillery , and takes its name from Minor Case Beam, Master Distller Stephen Beam's Great Grandfather. An interesting rye which has enjoyed a finishing period in Sherry casks before bottling,  imparting a balance of sweetness to the classically spicy spirit.                                                          Nose: Mince pie and stem ginger. Touches of dusty oak and honey'd cereal.
Palate: A core of clove and soda bread, surrounded by cinnamon, cedar and blueberry muffin notes.
Finish: Cacao, raspberry and cinnamon.

Very smooth and pleasant. Great members price I don’t like many Whisky’s straight , but this is up in my top ten . Great taste !

I usually avoid sherry cask finished American (and Scot) whiskeys as i find them overly sweet. Minor holds a beautiful balance of aged rye & a delicate touch for a sweeter finish than would normally be expected from a straight 45abv rye. Su

This is a very smooth rye bourbon. Hints of caramel, vanilla and a slight smokiness give this a nice all round flavour bomb. My husband and I drank this on the rocks but you could have it with soda water. Definitely dont mix it with coke.
