About this product

The Rosso del Cerro is a ruby red, fresh and fruity IGT Toscana made with 90% Sangiovese. The juice is allowed to macerate on skins for 15-18 days and fermented at a controlled temperature in steel. This is followed by spontaneous MLF (malolactic fermentation), also in stainless steel tanks. The wine is then racked off into 20 to 32 hectolitre oak casks for a period of around 3-6 months prior to being bottled.
