Soft, rounded fruit with dark berries and dried plums dominating. Firm tannin structure supports the generous fruit and drives the wine to a long, supple finish.
Each variety is harvest separately at optimum ripeness and transported directly to the winery. The fruit is de-stemmed, crushed and transferred to open fermenters which are plunged twice daily. Once the wine reaches the optimum time on skins it is pressed off. Post-fermentation the wine is transferred to oak for maturation. After 20 months maturation, the wine is blended, filtered and bottled.
